We greet you with good news and great expectations today! The Nepal mission trip for Scott and our “Go Nepal!” mission team is just days away (October 23-November 16), and we really need your prayers now.
While Nepal is a secular nation that allows people to practice their own faith, proselytizing (trying to persuade someone to change their religious beliefs) is illegal and punishable by imprisonment, high fines, and/or deportation. A Korean mission team of 14 was expelled from the country for evangelizing earlier this year, so please pray for protection for our group and the Nepali team they will be ministering alongside.
Approximately 150 pastors from across Nepal are gathering for a three-day conference, and Scott has been invited to speak to them about raising disciple-makers. Afterwards, he will also have the opportunity to connect with the regional coordinators of this group. Pray for meaningful conversations and relationships to develop during our time there and for God to open doors to establish disciple-making groups in new areas throughout Nepal.
And we just got news that Scott’s Raising Disciple-Makers book is being printed right now in Nepali! We will have 200 copies ready to distribute at the pastors conference.

Our “Go Nepal!” team will arrive in country on November 4 and will be helping lead a multi-day youth camp there. Pray for each team member as they prepare their messages and teaching for that camp. Ask God to give them wisdom, clarity, and the words he wants them to share with the young people.
Finally, although this newsletter is focused on Nepal, remember that TTC is currently raising disciple-makers (DMs) and expanding the movement through many other nations – including Uganda. One of our Kenya National Directors will fly next week to Uganda’s capital, Kampala, to host our first DM Summit (a gathering of all the DM group attendees in Uganda), followed by a DM Vision-Casting on October 23-24 (to present this process to more regional pastors). We currently have seven DM groups in Uganda, and these special meetings are the culmination of 12 months of work there.
Today’s Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for the Nepal mission team as they prepare for this trip. Several of them have been facing unusual physical challenges that appear to be spiritual in nature. It’s clear that the enemy is not happy; pray for their health, strength, spiritual energy, and protection.
2. Please pray for the pastors and leaders our team will connect with, and pray for new DM groups to be established in new areas of Nepal.
Today’s Praise Reports:
1. We thank God for Consultant Renee Estes who is bringing her unique skillset to the TTC team. She is helping develop organizational systems that can grow with TTC and prepare us to hire US headquarters staff in 2027.
2. Thank God with us for (6) new “Disciple-Makers Indeed” in the Philippines. These are “3rd generation” DM coaches who have fulfilled 2 Timothy 2:2 by raising others who have launched their own new DM groups.
3. We are also thankful for two new DM groups being coached by Stephen and Michelle Everett. One group is introducing disciple-making into 3 new nations, and the second group includes senior pastors from 7 different states!
Rejoice with us as this disciple-making movement continues to expand into new areas, and thank you for partnering with us to make all this possible!
Blessings,
Scott and Patty Roberts and the Ever-Expanding TTC Team
