Today’s Prayer Requests:
- Nepal – Continue to pray for the people of Nepal who face incredible challenges regarding basic life necessities (food, water, and shelter). Pray also for our Nepal missions team as they prepare to travel to the other side of the world for ten days of ministry in November. Pray for the Nepali people to be open to the message they bring, and for our team members’ hearts, minds, and lives to be forever changed as a result of this trip.
- New Nations – Praise God for all the nations he is allowing us to equip. Pray with us for new disciple-maker groups starting in Rwanda and several other new African nations which are in addition to the six new (blue) nations shown above!
- Partners & Provision – Thank God for his amazing work in connecting TTC with more US partners and providing such abundant funding to jumpstart the continued expansion of the Disciple-Makers Movement around the world!
Our 2026 annual missions banquet was held on the evening of September 15th in Forsyth, Missouri, where Church 3:16 pulled out all the stops to provide a wonderful venue. Their team of volunteers handled everything, from set-up and sound to catering a delicious meal. Thank you, Church 3:16!
150 guests attended, many of whom had had no previous connection with Take the Challenge; they came because one of our 26 friendly table hosts knew them and invited them. Thank you, Table Hosts!
The food was great...
... and the fellowship was sweet!
Scott gave a powerful, inspiring presentation about Take the Challenge and its Disciple-Making Movements, interspersed with exciting video testimonies from many of our overseas friends who shared the personal impact the disciple-makers groups are having on their lives. Thank you, Scott and overseas friends!
Pastor Mike Carlton from Bloom Church in Branson, Missouri closed the evening with a passionate appeal from the 2nd chapter of Acts, and the guests’ response was overwhelming. Thank you, Pastor Mike!
Prior to the banquet, a number of our partners had joined together to provide a matching fund of $20,000 for banquet donations, and just under $21,000 was given (and therefore doubled!) that night. Thank you, matching fund donors, and thank you, guests!
God is continually opening doors to establish disciple-makers groups in new nations. In fact, in just the past month, God has brought us to the threshold of SIX new nations! This $40,000 is a healthy seed of what it will take for us to walk through those doors in the coming months. Thank you, Almighty God!
