Take the Challenge began ministry in Ghana in 2017. Partnering with a number of different indigenous churches, Scott has taught in Bible schools, held pastors seminars, spoken in crusades, and led a youth camp. A British colony until independence in 1957, Ghana is a nation where sharp contrasts exist between the heavily Christian south and the Muslim-dominated north.

     Our most fruitful partnership in Ghana has been with Pastor Amoto and Oasis of Life Church in the northern town of Tamale. Scott was invited to preach at two crusades in Muslim villages there in 2017, and Take the Challenge later partnered with stateside churches to fund construction of a church building for the new believers in the village of Kudula in 2018. Pastor Rick Cochran from Venture Church in Springfield, Missouri dedicated the Kudula church during a TTC mission trip that also hosted the first-ever youth camp for Oasis of Life Church.
