Scott and Patty Roberts have been active in ministry since they married in 1987. They are both graduates of Agape School of World Evangelism in Little Rock, AR where they lived until God called them to plant a church in Branson, MO in 1996. After several years of pastoral ministry, God spoke to Scott through a dream about planting video Bible schools in a closed nation in northeast Asia in 2002, thus birthing the Take The Challenge ministry.
Building on the foundation of his mother and father’s ministry in the country, Scott made 15 short-term trips from 2003 to 2008 training pastors, establishing a Bible school and helping raise up a local church. After having his access to the nation restricted, Scott turned his focus toward Niger Africa, leading TTC drama teams, teaching in Bible schools and preaching in local churches.
In June 2016, God called Scott to leave his consulting work to pursue missions full time. Since that time, he has been traveling to different countries, training pastors, teaching in Bible schools and coming along side missionary works around the world. Scott spends about 120 days a year on the ground ministering on foreign soil. When not overseas, Scott and his wife Patty enjoy life in Walnut Shade, MO USA.
