| Dear All, Wednesday’s Bottom Line: The DM leaders retreat is in progress asd I write, and it’s going really well. Pictures and a 1:18 video below. Wednesday’s Prayer Requests: 1. God to continue to refresh, encourage, and strengthen the current Filipino DM group leaders AND our national TTC leaders, Wilson and Angelica. 2. Scott to be Spirit-led throughout his next (final) week in the Philippines. 3. Safe travel for everyone to Loo (“LOW-oh”) on Friday.Wednesday’s Details: I have been known to try to put words in Scott’s mouth (never a good choice!), but today I will let him speak for himself about the current DM leaders retreat, which is happening now in Pugo, about a hour north of our team’s base in Villasis. He said, “Here are two pictures of the footwashing with our DM leaders at our retreat tonight. Not a dry eye in the house.”   And here’s a video of part of their footwashing. Scott said, “This was so powerful. God really helped me this afternoon and evening. Everyone has really engaged and is being transformed. After the footwashing, we served each other communion. There are 18 here, including me, and all are leading groups. We are expecting God to continue the work tomorrow morning.”Obviously, this experience has been powerful and deeply impacting for all of these very precious folks. I’ll switch gears now and close with a couple items of humor because laughter is good too. As you know, when in the Villasis area, Scott has been staying at Myrna’s “guesthouse” in nearby Tombod, and I may have mentioned that Myrna is 88 years old. All I know about this picture is Scott’s caption on it! = )  “Myrna getting me a glass” And back to the retreat, Scott’s final comment to me today was, “All 18 of us are in one condo unit with 2 bedrooms. 😳” To which I replied, “You’d better not snore tonight!” As always, please remember that prayer is the foundation for all the wonderful ministry happening in the Philippines right now, and God is hearing and answering your prayers TODAY for our team over there.
