| Dear All, Sunday’s Bottom Line: Hillary and Scott are both in Tanzania! Hillary is not feeling well. Travel plans are a bit different than I had thought. Sunday’s Prayer Requests: 1. Healing for Hillary (vomiting, diarrhea) and Scott to stay healthy. 2. Grace for them both for much driving and a full BT seminar in Babati on Monday. 3. The pastoral couples at the Better Together seminar to be profoundly impacted and ministered to.Sunday’s Details: Scott’s texts to me Sunday morning right before church went like this. 9:22 AM (MO time) – “Approaching the Tanzanian border. Thanks for your prayers for a smooth crossing.” 9:55 AM – “See what $50 and God’s favor can do!”  Scott’s Tanzanian visa! |
 And a new vaccination booklet that is not falling apartSo, rejoice with us; God answered our prayers, and Scott and Hillary are now in Tanzania!20 minutes later Scott said, “After exchanging money to Tanzanian shillings (TZS), Hillary tells me I am a multimillionaire! 1.72 M.” = )I had thought they were driving on to Babati Sunday night, but here are the current facts as of 9:00 PM Sunday night (TZ time) “Tonight we will stay in Arusha. Then, tomorrow morning at 6 AM, the host pastor will pick us up and drive us 3 hours [farther south] to Babati where I will teach a full BT seminar. [That night after the seminar] we will drive 3 hours back to Arusha. On Tuesday, we will hold another BT seminar in Arusha town, then stay the night in Arusha again before heading back to Kenya.”That all sounded good, but this did not: “Prayer request: Hillary started feeling bad around the border. We had to pull over so he could vomit. Now he also has diarrhea. We are hoping it is food-related rather than viral.” Although they are traveling together and have been eating the same foods, we are asking God to quickly heal Hillary AND totally protect Scott from whatever it was.
